EV AND IV Guide

Some Pokémon give multiple different EV's such as attack 1, and defense 1. Legendary pokemon are a perfect example of this.

Iv's are a set Stat boost from 0 to 31 for each stats such as. Attack, defense, health, speed and etc.

Every spawned Pokémon has a set Stat for each IV that cannot be changed in pokemon vr the higher the better.

EV's also known as effort values are set as 0 when a Pokémon is caught.

Every Pokémon you defeat rewards a set amount of Effort Values of a certain type.

Some Pokémon give multiple different EV's such as attack 1, and defense 1. Legendary Pokémon are a perfect example of this.

In total a Pokémon can gain 510 EVs, but only 255 in one stat. Since 4 EVs equals one stat point, if you want to max out a particular stat it's only useful to get 252 EVs one two separate stats (63 points). The last 3 EVs would be wasted.

In Pokémon VR currently ever 8 EV points is one stat increase.
